Over thirty years ago, Eve Adamson began the Association for the Development of Dramatic Arts with the firm conviction that supporting great artists was integral to creating great theatre.  That vision has stayed true from the company's existence as the Cocteau and its current form as the Exchange, where it supports the boldest theatre makers in the US and beyond.  The Exchange remains firmly focussed on being a place where artists and audiences come together to explore new ideas and push the form, and making theatre that is diverse, brilliant, raw, and alive. The Exchange stays true to Eve's legacy by continually recreating itself and evolving to always be a place of inclusion and a forum for ideas.
