Help the Orchard Project close its 2009 shortfall!

The Orchard Project, a leading incubator of the best theatre, needs an additional $15000 A FINAL $5000 to pay for its summer 2009 residencies.  This June, over 20 exciting companies and teams from around the US and beyond -- ranging from NY's own Naked Angels and Tectonic Theatre Project to UK's Royal Court and Theatre Ad Infinitum to innovators like Rude Mechs (TX), Sojourn (OR) and Curious Theatre Company -- are planning on coming upstate and counting on the Orchard Project as their own R&D laboratory. We provide them with the space, time and support to take risks they would never be able to elsewhere, and only the Orchard Project supports such a wide range of companies and teams as they develop work concurrently. We are hoping that in the next few weeks, we will be able to close that short fall through donations from people such as yourself who understand the vitality and necessity of the work we do.
